After selecting Fresco Shades to build a canopy over their deck area, Tess was over the moon to learn she had been drawn as the winner of a free Outdoor Lounge Suite from Fresco Shades’ summer promotion.

The couple initially planned to build a timber pergola but are pleased with their decision to choose Fresco Shades for a specialised, modern solution. They particular love the height, the sleek design and the contemporary fabric roof.
The 19m2 canopy has transformed a sunny yet exposed deck into a versatile space to relax, enjoy the spa, fire up the BBQ, and is even a popular hangout for their dog. Winning the lounge suite was the perfect finishing touch.
The canopy is a modern Mono Pitch Arch, cantilevered over the corner of the deck and enclosed with an endfill for added weather protection.
The additional roofing also provides an opportunity to capture rainwater – one of the key reasons the Mono Pitch Arch was chosen. Its design channels the water back to the house gutter system and Fresco Shades included additional canopy fittings to support this.
